Citizen Cables Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers of electric cables in Bangladesh, with a factory located in B.K Bari, Rajendrapur, Gazipur. Formerly known as Fecto Industries Ltd., it was managed by the Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC) and owned by the Bangladesh Government. In 1993, we took over the factory and collaborated with the Japanese under the BMRE program to modernize it. Currently, we produce all types of Citizen brand electric cables in compliance with international standards, using 99.99% pure imported copper at our state-of-the-art factory in Gazipur. Equipped with the latest technology and computerized machinery, our modern laboratory allows us to manufacture PVC/XLPE Copper/Aluminum cables up to 33KV, as well as overhead insulated and bare conductors.

Quality and reliability have always been our primary focus. Therefore, all Citizen brand cables undergo rigorous testing according to standard specifications. Our well-equipped testing laboratory ensures thorough testing, and our products are approved by the Bangladesh Standard and Testing Institution (BSTI) and the Bureau of Research, Testing & Consultation (BRTC), BUET. They are also approved by various government sectors, including PWD, PDB, MES, REB, DPDC, CAAB, DCC, Facilities Department, Bangladesh Railway, Mongla & Chittagong Port Authority, among others.

We have achieved the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 Certificate from Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI), U.K, for our strict adherence to the Quality Management System. Additionally, Citizen Cables is certified by BUET, BSTI, and CPRI (Central Power Research Institute, India) for our commitment to international quality standards.
